Get ahead: How to rebrand your business
10.04.2012 | WIIN Solutions Managing Director, Gilles Bachet, offers advice for companies considering rebranding their business in a recent article which appeared in select Fairfax publications.
In the article, Gilles discusses the importance of rebranding (even for successful businesses) and provides valuable insights to help organisations make the application of a rebrand more impactful.
“Our research shows that, on average, a business will undergo a rebranding or identity refreshment once every seven years. For the largest companies in the world, 15 per cent of their market capitalisation is related to their brand, meaning that if you change or update that brand once every seven years, there’s quite a lot of value at stake. A rebrand done well can dramatically change competitiveness and market share.”

VIM Group expands further into Europe and Asia
03.02.2012 | The Visual Identity Management (VIM) Group has expanded its global network to East Asia, Germany and the Nordics. With its new members, VIM Group is now represented in 11 countries around the world.
The latest additions to VIM Group, The Resource Cube from Taiwan, Double Q from Germany and DanSign from Denmark, are pleased to have come on board: “Thanks to our membership we are much better positioned to serve our clients internationally. VIM Group’s project management methodologies and roll-out software enable us to deliver our services seamlessly across borders,” says Paul Maloney from The Resource Cube.
Marc Cloosterman, CEO of VIM Group: “When it comes to brand implementation, most branding agencies hand over their work to their clients’ own organisations. Since a rebranding takes place – on average – once every seven years, specific expertise is needed to successfully implement a new brand. Implementing a brand is a complex and cost-intensive task, and this is all the more true for brands operating internationally. Our research has shown that if a client invests €1 in hiring a branding agency, they’ll invest twenty times that amount in the implementation process that follows”.
WIIN Solutions has been the Asia Pacific arm of VIM Group since 2007.
