In September 2010, Delaware North was awarded the exclusive hospitality and catering contract at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) and Sydney Football Stadium (SFS).
Working on behalf of Delaware North and in collaboration with head contractor CBRE Projects, WIIN Solutions provided design, documentation and contract management services to execute and implement a complete signage upgrade and refurbishment of over 100 retail (food and beverage) outlets across both stadia.
Our role was to lead and manage the design process, secure all necessary approvals both statutory and from all internal and external stakeholders, tender and procure the works and project manage the construction.
WIIN Solutions also provided Delaware North with recommendations for a retail visual merchandising upgrade (incl. digital signage software and LCDs). A comprehensive assessment of five companies was completed which included an evaluation of the software, site visits of existing installations and post tender interviews. Based on a range of criteria, we were able to identify and recommend a vendor which suited the operations of Delaware North and by extension, the SCG Trust.
All works were carefully sequenced around the pre-committed events at both grounds and with meticulous coordination around the occupants and visitors to the SCG and SFS.
